Youth Justice Services
Counseling Services
Serves youth, up to 18 years of age, who are in conflict with the law.
Programs include a variety of treatment interventions including individual, group, and family counselling.
Referred by Probation Services.
Psychological and Psychiatric assessment and consultation are available when appropriate.
Offender Specific Treatment Program
Serves youth, up to 18 years of age, who have committed a sexual offense.
Referred by police, probation and the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society.
Youth Mental Health Court Program
Serves youth, up to 18 years of age, under the jurisdiction of the Youth Justice Court.
The Youth Mental Health Court Worker helps to divert youth with mental health needs out of the formal justice system, where appropriate.
Upon the successful completion of the diversion plan, the youth’s criminal charges are stayed.
Court Ordered Assessments
Provides court ordered psychiatric and psychological assessments to youth up to 18 years of age.
Referred by way of a youth court order.
